I (Christie) recently bought this super-hot Tyrannosaurus made by a company named Papo. I named her 'Sue'. This was the name of a fossil of the same species in a documentary I watched all the time when I was a little sugar cube.
Normally, you go to the store and they have these weird mass-produced dinosaurs and they're all crappy and poorly painted. This one's paint job is completly flawless, and it's one of only a few theropod models I've seen that can stand on two legs without using its tail. I also have an Allosaurus made by the same company, which is pretty fantabulous too.
I found this one website where a bunch of paleo-nerds sit around and review toy dinosaurs based on their anatomical correctness. (I thought it was pretty amazing.) I would rate this one 4 1/2 stars out of five because of some innaccuracies, such as the arms being a bit too long. But this is still the nicest looking T-Rex model I have seen to date.
If you have a kid who loves dinosaurs, they would probably pee their pants when they saw this one. I know I would have if I got this when I was a little sugar cube.
Speaking of my sugar cube years, when I was kindergarten I was extemely obsessed with everything dinosaur and dinosaur-related. (pterosaurs, plesiosaurs, etc.)
One time, my teacher, who was well aware of my obsession, bought some small plastic Triceratops to put in the prize box just for me.
The next time I went to go pick something out, I was horrified to see these cheap, terrifyingly inaccurate Ceratopsians staring at me with their vacant cartoonish eyes. Needless to say, I picked out a piece of candy instead. My teacher was not pleased.
My teacher also was not pleased when I brought in my pteranodon model for letter "P" day.
These are awesome!!!!

My son has this same dino. He loved it, but I don't know what he called his, probably just T-Rex. He was obsessed with T-Rex for many years, and through his excitement I learned many interesting facts about dinosaurs. Now he's more interested in Minecraft. I miss our dino days. Thanks for the smile this brought me.
