My mom and I went to the North Georgia Zoo this weekend. There weren't swarms of people. It was nice. We did a behind the scenes tour and they let us interact with lots of animals. Here's me with some wolves. One of them kept licking my face and I had dried wolf spit on me for the rest of the day. I'm not complaining though.
Here's me with with fluffy offspring of the two wolves in the above photo.
Here's a baby ring-tailed lemur. We also held a baby black-and-white ruffed lemur.
Here's another thing. I think it was a swamp wallaby.
Some fat turkeys.
They had lots of other stuff: Mountain lions, servals, coatis, binturongs, gibbons, kangaroos, zebras, ect. They had a lot of animals I'd never seen in person before.
It was far superior to the Atlanta Zoo, in my opinion.
Even though I had a good time, I still stayed in my room for the rest of the day--and the day after--due to post-excitement exhaustion.
The lemur photo is my favorite!
